It is MIG welded in-house, sandblasted, and powder coated in matte black. Designed for use with 2.5 to 3.0 x 16\" travel bypass shocks and Deaver's I-96 spring under leaf springs, it provides up to 18\" of wheel travel. The bedcage locates off existing frame holes and requires drilling two new 1\/2\" holes, with all necessary grade 8 mounting hardware included. Professional installation is recommended, as it involves cutting holes in the bed and welding lower shock mounts. Lower shock tabs are not supplied, as they vary depending on shock brand and size. Hub-centric wheel spacers may be needed for clearance between the tire and shock. The bedcage also provides usable bed space for storage.
